What is UniWar?
UniWar is a turn-based strategy game exclusively for iOS devices. First released in 2008, UniWar has become one of the most popular turn-based strategy games on iOS.
UniWar features simple yet deep gameplay mechanics centered around capturing cities and defeating enemy armies. Players take turns maneuvering units like tanks, aircraft, infantry and more across hex-based battlefields. There are over 20 unique units spread across 6 colorful factions, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
Despite its simple interface, UniWar offers complex and challenging gameplay. Players must carefully manage their economy, build the right mix of units, and develop winning strategies to outmaneuver their opponent. UniWar's AI provides a solid single player challenge, while online multiplayer allows players to test their skills against others.
UniWar includes several ways to play. The campaign mode features over 36 unique missions across different maps and scenarios. Skirmish mode allows customizable matches vs AI. Local pass-and-play multiplayer is available as well as online multiplayer complete with matchmaking, rankings, achievements and more. An in-game scenario editor lets players create their own custom maps and scenarios.
