Its animation timeline and curve editors allow precise control over every aspect of the fluids. A wide range of presets, materials and environments enables users to achieve realistic results with minimum effort.

At the core of Magic Fluids is a fast and stable fluid solving engine. It utilizes an improved Position Based Dynamics solver to simulate liquids, smoke and gases. Combined with methods like Fluid Implicit Surface, Volumetric Rendering, it is able to generate details and dynamics that were previously only possible with offline calculations.

The full integration with content creation pipelines also makes Magic Fluids a flexible fluid simulation tool. It supports industry standard file formats like Alembic for exporting fluid data and OpenVDB for volumes. Common image sequences can also be imported and exported to composite with other graphics softwares.
