What is Meganoid (Series)?

Meganoid is a series of action platformer video games developed by indie studio OrangePixel and released on mobile devices as well as PSP and PC. The series currently consists of three main installments: Meganoid (2010), Meganoid 2 (2011) and Meganoid 2017 (2017).

The Meganoid games feature colorful retro-style pixel art graphics and chiptune music, hearkening back to 8-bit and 16-bit platformers of the NES and SNES eras. Gameplay is reminiscent of classic platform series like Mega Man, Castlevania and Metroid.
