What is MiRack?
miRack is a virtual modular synthesizer that emulates the look, feel, and functionality of a real-world Eurorack modular synth rig. Developed by AudioDamage, it runs as a VST/AU plugin inside a DAW or as a standalone application.
At the core of miRack is a flexible, customizable modular environment that allows you to explore analog-style sound design. You can add and connect dozens of virtual modules, including oscillators, filters, envelopes, sequencers, mixers and a wide variety of effects. An intuitive patch cable routing system lets you experiment with creating complex patches and signal flows.
While modeled closely after physical Eurorack systems, miRack expands the possibilities by adding new module designs not possible in the real world. These include modules with up to 24 channels, sidechain inputs, programmable step sequencers, and precision tuners.
With an emphasis on ease-of-use, miRack makes modular synthesis accessible for beginners and experts alike. The intuitive single-window interface features colorful, 3D-rendered modules with interactive controls. Hundreds of factory presets provide starting points for sound design.
For advanced users, there are tons of depth and customization options. You have unlimited tracks, four synth voices per track, advanced MIDI mappings, and support for microtuning scales. The Module Development Kit (MDK) also allows designing your own custom modules and sharing them with others.
From vintage analog emulations to experimental soundscapes, miRack offers immense sonic possibilities in a flexible virtual modular platform.
