Movies Anywhere is a digital movie locker platform launched in 2017 through a collaboration between five major Hollywood studios - Walt Disney Studios, Sony Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox, Universal Pictures, and Warner Bros. The service syncs users' movie libraries across platforms so they can start watching a movie on one device, stop, and pick up where they left off on another device. Movies Anywhere currently supports iOS, Android, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, Xfinity, DirecTV, Fios TV, and a wide range of web browsers. Users can also stream their synced movies via apps like Amazon Prime Video, Google Play Movies & TV, Apple TV, and Vudu.
