Orfox is a free, open source Tor browser for Android devices. It allows users to access the Tor network on their mobile phones or tablets in order to browse the web anonymously and securely.

Some key features of Orfox include:

  • Access to onion services - special Tor hidden services with .onion URLs
  • Encrypted traffic routing through the Tor network to protect privacy
  • No tracking, surveillance or censorship of browsing activities
  • Blocking ads and malicious content for improved security
  • Bundle of Tor and Orbot to simplify anonymous mobile browsing

Orfox is developed by the Tor Project, the non-profit behind the Tor anonymity network. It can be downloaded for free from the Google Play store. The app offers similar privacy protections to the Tor browser on desktops, allowing mobile users to search the web, communicate and access blocked content safely by routing connections through multiple layers of encryption and Tor relays.
