What is Radxa Rock?

The Radxa Rock is a single-board computer built around a Rockchip RK3328 quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor running at up to 1.5GHz. It features 2GB of DDR4 RAM and 16GB of eMMC flash storage. The board has a variety of connectivity options including Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, and a 40-pin GPIO header.

This small SBC measures only 85mm x 56mm but packs a punch in terms of performance. The RK3328 SoC integrates a Mali-450 MP2 GPU capable of 4K video decoding. The Rock also supports upscaling content to 4K resolution via HDMI 2.0. It can run various Linux distributions including Android, Debian, Ubuntu, Arch Linux, etc.

Its high performance paired with low cost makes the Radxa Rock well suited for embedded applications like network attached storage (NAS), media streaming, digital signage, robotics projects, home automation, IoT gateways and much more. Support for WiFi/BT and USB connectivity allows for flexible interface options.
