What is Splix.io?

Splix.io is a free online multiplayer territory control game. The game takes place on a shared canvas where players take turns drawing lines to claim areas of the map. The mechanics are simple - each player has a colored cursor which leaves a trail, and they try to box in blank space to claim it in their color. Games have up to 4 players.

There is strategic depth in balancing between claiming smaller areas to score faster points versus bigger ones for more overall territory. Since turns rotate quickly between players, you have to think on your feet. The community metagame has evolved over time too.
