What is Walky?
Walky is a free, open-source password manager application developed by Walky Software. It is available for Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
Walky allows users to securely store website usernames, passwords and other sensitive information in an encrypted virtual vault that is locked with a master password. It uses industry-standard AES-256 encryption to protect user data. The master password is hashed with PBKDF2 to make it difficult to crack.
Some key features of Walky include:
- Secure password generator to create strong, random, unique passwords
- Auto-save and auto-fill of usernames/passwords for web sites
- Cross-platform sync of vault data between devices
- Browser extensions for auto-fill functionality in Chrome, Firefox and other browsers
- Mobile apps for iOS and Android for saving and filling passwords on mobile devices
Walky helps individuals and teams manage multiple passwords more easily and securely. By storing all sensitive information encrypted behind a master password, Walky aims to provide a safe and convenient solution for password management.
