What is British Airways?

British Airways (BA) is the flagship carrier airline of the United Kingdom. The airline has its main hub at London Heathrow Airport and is headquartered in Waterside near Heathrow. British Airways originated in 1974 with the merger of British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) and British European Airways (BEA). The airline has a fleet size of over 270 aircrafts flying to more than 200 destinations worldwide.

This allows the airline to offer its passengers more connectivity and options for seamless travel. Under its modernization program British Airways has focused on upgrading its fleet with new long haul aircrafts like the Boeing 787 and Airbus A380. British Airways has one of the largest networks for a European carrier, giving it a truly global reach.
