What is Conquest of Elysium 4 (Series)?

Conquest of Elysium 4 is a turn-based fantasy strategy game released in 2015 by Illwinter Game Design. It is the fourth game in the Conquest of Elysium series which first launched in 1995.

In the game, you take control of a powerful commander leading one of 16 different fantasy factions such as Dark Elves, Mountain Barbarians, Amazons, and more. Your goal is to conquer territories across the land through strategic warfare, magical abilities, cunning politics, and more.

Gameplay takes place on a hex map where you recruit armies, heroes, and agents to expand your empire. As territories come under your control, you gain gold and mana to support your conquest. Using these resources, you can research spells, equip your champions, or summon mythological creatures into battle.

Conquest of Elysium features both single player and multiplayer modes. The single player campaign is comprised of 5 episodic campaigns spanning over 200 maps. In multiplayer, you can battle up to 15 other players either hotseat or through play-by-email.
