Cowboys and Zombies is a zombie survival game set in the Wild West. Play as a cowboy defending a deserted town from waves of zombies. Use pistols, rifles, shotguns, dynamite and more to fight off endless undead hordes to see how long you can hold out alone or with friends.

What is Cowboys and Zombies?

Cowboys and Zombies is a top-down zombie survival shooter set in the Wild West. You play as a lone cowboy defending a deserted ghost town from endless waves of attacking zombies. Armed with pistols, rifles, shotguns and dynamite, you must fight to survive.

The goal is to survive as long as possible against overwhelming odds. Zombies will attack from all directions, first in ones and twos, but soon in massive deadly hordes. You'll need to run, gun and blow them away before they overwhelm you.

As you blast away zombies, you'll unlock new weapons like a six-shooter revolver, lever-action rifle, double-barreled shotgun, sticks of dynamite and more. Upgrade and customize these weapons for more firepower. You can also unlock special weapon barrels that shoot fire, acid and lightning to really mow down the hordes.

Make your stand on the porch of the saloon, on the balcony of the bank, standing atop the coffins in the graveyard or out in the streets for a classic Western shootout with the undead. Try out multiple locations to find good chokepoints and zones of control.

For added challenge, play at night when visibility goes down but the number of zombies goes up. Or brave the endurance mode to see how many relentless waves of zombies you can survive.

Cowboys and Zombies supports 1-4 player local multiplayer co-op so you can team up with fellow cowpokes to take down the zombie menace together.
