What is Crossy Road?

Crossy Road is an endless arcade mobile game developed and published by Hipster Whale. Originally released for iOS devices in November 2014, Crossy Road has also been ported to Android and Windows Phone devices.

In Crossy Road, the goal is to guide various characters, such as a chicken, frog or robot, across an endless series of roads, railway tracks, and rivers. Players tap the screen to make their character move forward, and the objective is to go as far as possible without getting hit by a car or falling into the water.

The game features simple and colorful blocky graphics along with relaxing music. As players progress, they unlock new secret characters to play as. Crossy Road is a freemium game, meaning it is free to download and play but includes optional in-app purchases.
