What is Electromaps?

Electromaps is an open-source web application designed specifically for electric vehicle (EV) drivers. It allows users to find EV charging stations along a route or in a given area and plan trips accordingly.

One of the key features of Electromaps is its crowdsourced database of charging stations. Users can add new stations or update information on existing ones, such as location details, charger types and power levels, pricing and payment methods, availability, and even reviews or photos. This real-time, user-generated data helps provide other EV drivers with useful, accurate information on stations.

In addition to the charging station database, Electromaps offers tools for routing and trip planning. Drivers can map out a route and see recommended charging stops along the way based on their vehicle's range and battery level.
