What is GlobalFindBar?

GlobalFindBar is a free browser extension available for Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Safari that enhances the built-in find on page feature. It integrates seamlessly with the browser to allow global text search across all open tabs and bookmark folders.

When the find bar is activated with GlobalFindBar enabled, it will automatically search the current page as normal. Additionally, icons will appear allowing you to expand the search to all open tabs or all bookmarks with a single click.

As you type into the search box, results from relevant pages will appear in a dropdown allowing you to quickly navigate directly to matching text. This makes it easy to find information you know is open somewhere but don't remember exactly what page it was on.

GlobalFindBar is customizable with options to filter certain pages from search, use regex search patterns and highlight all matching text. It's a productivity booster that saves you time when trying to find information across the multiple webpages you often have open.
