What is God's Trigger?
God's Trigger is a top-down co-op shooter video game developed by One More Level and published by Techland in 2019. The game features both single player and local co-op modes for two players.
In God's Trigger, players take control of Harry and Judy, two operatives working for Heaven as part of theHeavenly Saints organization. Their mission is to stop a sudden demon invasion of Earth orchestrated by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
To fight the demon hordes, Harry and Judy have access to an arsenal of weapons including pistols, shotguns, rifles, and specialized equipment. Players can also utilize melee attacks and unlock abilities like dodges, slides, charged attacks, and special moves to string together combos against enemies.
The game features procedurally generated arenas and destructible environments that players can utilize to their advantage. Missions range from pure combat challenges to more strategic objectives like escorting targets or diffusing bombs under a time limit.
God's Trigger features a vibrant art style with a punk rock aesthetic. The campaign can be played solo or cooperatively with two players in local split-screen co-op controlling Harry and Judy individually.
