What is Jetphoto?
Jetphoto is a free and open source photo editing software available for Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. It has an intuitive and easy-to-use interface making it ideal for casual photographers and photo hobbyists.
It provides all the basic photo editing tools and features that you would expect - cropping, resizing, rotating, straightening, color adjustments like brightness, contrast, saturation and temperature, adding text, drawing shapes and more. The editing happens non-destructively over the original photo.
Some of the key highlights of Jetphoto:
- Lightweight and fast.
- Supports common image formats like JPEG, PNG, TIFF.
- Has selection tools like rectangle, ellipse to apply edits to portions of an image.
- Ability to add layers, adjust opacity and layer order.
- Includes preset filters like black & white, vintage, HDR etc.
- Available for free with no ads or watermarks.
- Has keyboard shortcuts for efficient workflow.
On the downside, Jetphoto has very limited support for RAW files, lacks advanced editing capabilities like content-aware edits, lens corrections etc. But for the price, it packs quite a punch.
Overall, if you are looking for a simple no-frills photo editor for everyday use that gets the basics done, Jetphoto is certainly an excellent option worth trying out.
