What is Little Alchemy?

Little Alchemy is a browser-based crafting game developed by Recloak in Slovakia. Players start with four basic elements - fire, water, air and earth. By dragging these elements onto each other, new more complex elements are created. For example, combining air and earth makes dust, while combining fire and earth makes lava.

The objective is to use this process of mixing elements to unlock all 500+ items in the game. Helpful hints are provided if players get stuck. As more items are unlocked, more combinations become possible. This opens up branching creation chains spanning the medieval era to the modern world and beyond into space. The experience involves discovery, logic and experimentation.
