What is MicMute?

MicMute is a lightweight and easy to use open source software application whose sole purpose is to help you mute or unmute your microphone with the simple press of a hotkey. It was designed to enable quick mic toggling without having to go through multiple clicks in system tray icons or screenshot tools.

Once installed, MicMute places an icon in your system tray that you can use to set up a global keyboard shortcut of your choice. By default, the mute hotkey is Ctrl+Shift+M but you can change this to any key combination you prefer.
