What is NotePub?

NotePub is a feature-rich, free and open-source note taking and publishing software for Windows. It combines the flexibility of a text editor with the organizing capabilities of note taking apps and the publishing power of a website builder.

With NotePub, users can easily create notes, format text with headers, bold, italics etc.; embed images, tables, code blocks, LaTeX equations, audio, video and more. Notes can be organized into a hierarchy using the outline pane. A built-in Markdown preview allows seeing formatted text as it will appear when published.

Once notes are ready, with a click users can publish them as standard HTML web pages, print-ready PDFs, eBooks, blog/CMS compatible content and more. The published files can be uploaded to a website or learning platform for sharing.
