OTPClient: Free One-Time Password Authenticators

Open-source software for two-factor authentication on Linux, macOS, and Windows, syncing with popular services like GitHub and Google

What is OTPClient?

OTPClient is a free, open source two-factor authentication (2FA) client that runs on Linux, macOS and Windows. It supports the most common types of 2FA including time-based one-time passwords (TOTPs) and HMAC-based one-time passwords (HOTPs).

By scanning a QR code from services like GitHub, Google, Facebook etc., OTPClient can generate 6 digit one-time passcodes in sync with these sites every 30 seconds. Users can store an unlimited number of accounts in the app and easily copy codes to authenticate. It has a clean, intuitive interface for adding accounts, organizing them into folders, and quickly accessing the right OTP code when you need it.

In addition to TOTPs and HOTPs, OTPClient also supports Steam codes and has abuilt-in password generator. As an open source program, its code is publicly audited. And unlike some other authentication apps, OTPClient does not collect any personal user data. For those seeking a no-frills, privacy-focused 2FA app compatible with major sites and services, OTPClient is a top choice.
