Peapod: Online Grocery Delivery Service

Browse digital aisles, search for products, add them to a cart, and choose a delivery window for your order with Peapod's online grocery delivery service

What is Peapod?

Peapod is an online grocery delivery service founded in 1989 that allows customers to conveniently shop for groceries on the Peapod website or mobile app and have their order delivered straight to their door. Peapod partners with local grocery retailers to fulfill orders using the inventory at brick-and-mortar stores in the customer's area.

When using Peapod, customers can browse digital aisles categorized by department such as produce, dairy, frozen foods, pantry items, and more. They can search or filter products by keywords, brands, dietary needs, and other attributes. Once they've completed their order by adding items to a virtual cart, customers select a 1-hour delivery window for their groceries to arrive. At checkout, they pay online and tip the driver who will deliver the order. Peapod also allows customers to save favorite items, orders, and payment for faster repeat ordering.

In addition to groceries, customers can order prepared meals, meal kits, household essentials, pet supplies, and over-the-counter medications using Peapod. The service provides access to sales, coupons, and loyalty programs from partner grocers. Peapod delivers to homes as well as offices in many metro areas around the U.S. with no order minimums for delivery.
