What is Planes Control?

Planes Control is an air traffic control simulation software designed to provide realistic training for aspiring air traffic controllers. With detailed 3D graphics, Planes Control recreates busy airports with accurate runway configurations, realistic weather effects, and simulated commercial and private airplane traffic.

As the air traffic controller trainee, you are responsible for safely directing arrival and departure flights by assigning runways, approving takeoff clearances, providing vectors, and maintaining proper separation between aircraft. The software generates challenging traffic scenarios to develop key air traffic control skills such as communication, coordination, decision-making, and traffic management.

Features include customizable airports and airspace classes, standard ICAO phraseology options, integrated flight strips, replay and debrief capabilities, and scoring to track progress. With increasing levels of difficulty and complexity, Planes Control offers an immersive and engaging platform for building the fundamental knowledge and capabilities required of air traffic controllers.
