What is PokéVision?

PokéVision was a third-party web app and mobile app that functioned as a real time map and tracking tool for Pokémon Go. It utilized the Niantic API to continuously scan areas and reveal the spawn locations of Pokémon before they despawned.

When opened, PokéVision would display a map centered around your location. As it scanned the area, it would place markers on the map to indicate where and when Pokémon would spawn. This allowed Pokémon Go players to easily navigate to that location to catch the Pokémon before it disappeared.
