What is Savage 2?

Savage 2 is a free-to-play, multiplayer, online battle arena game developed and published by S2 Games. Players choose to fight on one of two factions, the human Legion or beast Horde, and battle against other players in intense, team-based combat.

Matches take place across a variety of fantastical maps filled with environmental hazards and strategic elements. Players select from one of multiple Commander units which fall into common multiplayer archetypes like warrior, ranger, Support, and siege. Each Commander has access to a range of melee weapons, firearms, and magic spells to use against the opposing faction.

Victory goes to the team that works together to destroy the other team's base structure. Savage 2 promotes coordinated teamwork through the Commander units' unique combination of skills and weaknesses. For example, Support Commanders heal teammates while Siege Commanders do higher damage to structures. Savage 2 has gone through many updates over its decade-plus of operation and maintains an active, dedicated player base.
