Spider Player is a free and open source software media player and multimedia framework which specializes in seamless playback of media files and streams.

What is Spider Player?

Spider Player is a free and open source video player application developed by the Spider Software multimedia project. Originally intended as an audio player capable of unified handling of compressed and lossless audio formats, it now also contains functionality typical of media center software and supplements audio playback by processing various A/V container formats and media streams.
