ToonTown Online is a 3D massively multiplayer online role-playing game that was developed and published by Disney. It launched in 2003 and was available for over a decade before closing in 2013 due to declining subscriptions.

In ToonTown, players create their own cartoon avatar known as a Toon. They are able to extensively customize the Toon's appearance, species, and clothing. There are many options to choose from including dogs, cats, mice, bears, ducks and more.

The gameplay is focused on humor, quests, and mini-games. Toons explore the vibrant, colorful world of ToonTown while interacting with other players. They can compete against Cogs who are the antagonists trying to turn ToonTown into a bleak corporate wasteland.

There are trolley games, races, battles against Cogs, and silly tasks like delivering a cake while trying not to make it explode. Completing activities and quests earns rewards and helps Toons progress to unlock more content. The gameplay is silly, lighthearted fun meant for a broad audience.

Although ToonTown Online shut down in 2013, fan-run private servers were launched in recent years to keep the game going. Many players still fondly remember the humorous, animated world of ToonTown and the community built around it.
