Transport Giant: Business Simulation Game

Build routes, purchase vehicles, manage finances, and compete against AI tycoons. Transport goods via road, rail, air, and water for profits.

What is Transport Giant?

Transport Giant is a complex business simulation game developed by JoWooD Productions and published by Rondomedia. Players take on the role of a transportation company CEO tasked with building an industrial empire.

In Transport Giant, players must manage the logistical and financial aspects of running transportation companies that ship goods via road, rail, air, and water routes. The main gameplay revolves around constructing transportation networks, purchasing vehicles, managing schedules and routes, servicing maintenance facilities, adjusting budgets, hiring employees, and competing against rival AI tycoons.

Players start out small - maybe running a single bus line or freight truck. As companies grow in scale and profit, players can expand into other transport sectors like passenger rail, cargo ships, and airline services. Transport Giant features an impressive roster of over 90 vehicles from buses, trucks, and freight trains to jumbo jets, river barges, and more.

The strategic economic simulation aspect of balancing transportation supply and demand adds engaging challenges. Players must manage budgets, cash flow, vehicle operating costs, fuel usage, cargo payments, passenger fares, taxes, salaries, and company valuation. Successful managers will optimize routes and schedules while keeping costs down and profits high.

With two expansive campaigns, random map mode, and free play mode, Transport Giant delivers hours of strategic economic management gameplay for players who want to become industrial transport tycoons.
