What is War Dragons?

War Dragons is a real-time strategy game developed and published by Pocket Gems for iOS and Android devices. In the game, players build a base on a floating island, train powerful dragons, and use them to raid rival islands and defend their own.

When starting out, players guide their dragon avatar through a short tutorial that teaches the basics of building structures, harvesting resources, and training a basic dragon. As the player levels up, more advanced buildings, habitats, and dragons become available.

There is a deep level of strategy in choosing which buildings to upgrade first to maximize resource generation. Habitats also need to be expanded and upgraded to house more powerful dragons. Different elemental dragons have strengths and weaknesses, so thoughtful team composition is key.

The multiplayer aspect comes in the form of periodic attacks from NPC dragons and live opponents. Successful defenses earn the player gold, while successful attacks allow the player to steal resources. There is also a clan system where players can chat, donate troops, and work towards collective goals and rewards.
