What is Area Raiders?
Area Raiders is a 2D top-down multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game developed and published by Tiny Titan Studios. In Area Raiders, players control a character, known as a champion, each with their own abilities, playstyles and roles. They work with their team to achieve victory against the enemy team.
There are currently over 50 unique champions to choose from in Area Raiders. Champions are categorized into classes such as marksmen, mages, tanks, fighters, assassins and supports. Each champion has 4 unique abilities, including an ultimate ability that unlocks at level 6. Players must utilize their champion's abilities in synergy and coordinate with their team in order to defeat opponents.
The most popular game mode is 5v5 PvP matches on a symmetric map with 3 lanes. Players must push down the lanes to destroy the enemy team's base. Along the way, players kill enemy minions to earn gold which is used to purchase items and grow stronger. Each match usually lasts 20-60 minutes and the first team to destroy the enemy's main structure wins.
There are also other casual game modes in Area Raiders such as ARAM (All Random All Mid), URF (Ultra Rapid Fire), and several rotating game modes which offer unique gameplay and maps. Additional gameplay elements include neutral epic monsters that provide team buffs, brush that provides vision obscurity, towers that defend for each lane, and a jungle area filled with neutral monsters between the lanes.
