What is War Clicks?

War Clicks is an incremental clicker game developed and published by Maxim Karpenko in 2015. In the game, the player takes control of a small military force and must click on the soldier character to gain money. This money can then be spent to hire more soldiers, purchase weapons and technologies, take over territories, and expand the player's military empire.

As an incremental clicker game, the core gameplay loop focuses around repeatedly clicking the soldier to gain resources, spending those resources to increase income rate, and repeating to exponentially grow the player's military strength. Over time, the player can advance from a small squad of soldiers to commanding massive air forces, artillery batteries, nuclear missile silos, and more.

The gameplay itself is rather simple, but there is an impressive amount of content and technologies to work towards unlocking. These help provide long-term goals and incentivize prestige-type mechanics where the player can reset their progress in exchange for permanent bonuses. There are also limited-time events and the ability to capture territories on a global map.
