What is AdVenture Capitalist?

AdVenture Capitalist is an incremental clicker game developed and published by Canadian video game studio Hyper Hippo Productions in 2014. The game is available on iOS, Android, Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, Facebook and Kongregate.

In AdVenture Capitalist, the player starts out with a simple lemonade stand business. By tapping on the screen, the player earns money which can then be spent to hire managers. These managers automatically generate cash even while the game is closed, allowing for idle progression mechanics. With enough money earned, the player is able to progress through unlocking businesses, investments and upgrades such as Donut Shops, Hockey Teams, Oil Companies and more.

The core gameplay loop focuses around tapping/clicking to generate money, using that money to hire managers, letting those managers generate money automatically, using that money to upgrade businesses to generate even more money at an exponential rate, and repeating. Players spend money to make money faster and progress through the game.

Additional elements in AdVenture Capitalist include angel investors to reset businesses with bonuses, profit sharing when resetting businesses to earn money faster, special events and promotions that provide temporary boosts or prizes, and goals that reward players for reaching certain milestones.
