A popular board game where up to 6 players collect clues to figure out who committed a murder, with what weapon, and in what room of a mansion.
Clue (also known as Cluedo) is a classic board game originally released in 1949 where players try to figure out the details of a mysterious murder. The game takes place in a mansion where Mr. Boddy has been murdered under mysterious circumstances.
Up to 6 players compete, each taking on the role of different characters residing in the mansion where the murder took place. Characters include Miss Scarlett, Colonel Mustard, Mrs. Peacock, Mr. Green, Mrs. White, and Professor Plum.
The objective is to move around the game board representing the mansion by rolling dice. As players enter different rooms, they can collect clue cards with information about the murder suspect, weapon, and location. Once they have gathered sufficient clues, players can start making accusations against other characters, trying to solve the mystery.
Gameplay involves rolling dice to move around the mansion board, landing in rooms, and showing clue cards to other players. As more information becomes available, players eliminate possible suspects, rooms, and weapons. The first player to correctly identify the suspect, location and weapon used wins the game.
Clue combines elements of murder mystery, suspense, and classic 'whodunnit' games. Deduction, logic and a little bit of luck are needed to be the first to unravel the mystery and identify the secret behind Mr. Boddy's murder.
