What is Drawful 2?

Drawful 2 is a party game developed and published by Jackbox Games as part of The Jackbox Party Pack 3 in 2016. It is designed for 3-8 players and works by having players take turns drawing prompts while the rest of the players write humorous fake answers to try to trick the other players. Then everyone tries to guess which answer was the real one the original player was trying to draw.

Gameplay works by first having a player receive a random prompt that they must draw within a time limit. While they are drawing, the other players will type in what they think the drawing is trying to depict. One of these answers is the actual prompt, while the others are fake answers written by the players. After the original player finishes their drawing, all the written responses are shown and players must try to guess which one was the real prompt.

Points are awarded for players who guess the real prompt correctly. Players who wrote the fake answers that trick other players into guessing them also earn points. There are several rounds with different players drawing prompts and submitting fake answers. At the end, the player with the most points earned wins.

Drawful 2 builds on the original Drawful game released in 2014 by adding more prompts, the ability to customize prompts, and additional racy joke prompts for mature groups. The quick-paced gameplay of creatively deceiving other players with funny fake answers combined with amusing terrible drawings makes it a popular party game.
