What is Filelist Creator?
Filelist Creator is a free and open source software tool for Windows that allows generating customizable detailed listings of files and folders. It goes through selected folders and subfolders to output a report that can include various details about each file and directory such as name, path, size, type, date created/modified, attributes and more.
The tool has an easy-to-use interface for configuring exactly which details to include in the output. Advanced filters can also be set up to only include or exclude specific types of files based on name, extension, date range and other criteria.
The output file listing can be saved as a HTML, text or CSV file. The HTML output is conveniently browseable and makes it easy to review the folder structure. The text and CSV outputs are great for importing the data into other applications.
