What is IFlash?

iFlash is a flashcard application designed specifically for helping students learn vocabulary and languages. It allows users to create digital flashcards containing text, images, audio recordings, and even video.

A key feature of iFlash is its spaced repetition system. This schedules flashcards to show up at increasing intervals based on the user's ability to recall the information. Cards the user struggles with come up more frequently, while cards they know well are shown less often. This optimization of practice leads to better memorization and retention.

iFlash has pre-made flashcard sets for popular language learning books. However, users can also create an unlimited number of their own card decks. Images, audio, and video can be embedded to enrich the learning experience. Cards can even contain example sentences demonstrating real-world usage.
