What is Laser Mania?

Laser Mania is a fast-paced 2D arcade shooter game released in 2020 by Pixel Fog Studio. Players control a small spaceship equipped with rapid-fire laser cannons and must destroy endless waves of enemy ships and asteroids approaching from all sides of the screen.

The goal of Laser Mania is simple - survive as long as possible while racking up points by shooting down enemies. A meter at the top of the screen tracks how many points the player has earned with each hit. As the score increases, the swarm of enemies attacking the player's ship also increases in number and speed, making for progressively challenging gameplay.

Players have a health bar that depletes every time their ship is hit by enemy fire or collides with an asteroid or enemy ship. Health can be replenished by collecting power-up items that appear randomly around the play area. The game ends when the player's health bar is fully depleted.

Laser Mania features colorful neon graphics, a pulsating electronic soundtrack, and two control modes - touchscreen and tilt controls. The game supports Game Center leaderboards and achievements so players can compete with friends for high scores. Overall the game provides an intense, exhilarating arcade challenge testing players' reflexes and aim.
