What is Microsoft Wordament?
Microsoft Wordament is a fast-paced word game designed by Microsoft for Windows PCs and tablets. It challenges players to identify as many words as they can within a time limit from a grid of random letters.
Gameplay consists of a grid of letters which players can drag to form words that fit dictionary requirements. For each valid word formed, players earn a number of points based on the word's length. The longer the word, the more points scored.
As the fast-paced timer counts down, new letter grids are presented. Players race against the clock to form all the words they can identify from each letter set before the timer expires. Bonus points are awarded for longer words and for using more difficult letters like X and Z.
The game has simple intuitive controls, allowing players to easily drag and drop letters into place. It also includes single and two-player modes, daily challenges, leaderboards, and achievements to encourage replay value. Wordament is available on Windows PC, mobile, and a variety of Xbox gaming devices.
