A turn-based hex map game simulating the European theater of operations during WWII, with features like unit movement, production, research, and more.
Panzer Marshal is a complex and detailed strategic war game set during World War II. Players take control of one of the major powers of the era such as Germany, the Soviet Union, the United States or Great Britain and guide their nation to victory or defeat.
The game takes place on a large hex based map representing Europe and parts of North Africa and the Middle East. The map itself contains a variety of terrain types including clear, forest, mountain, swamp and more - each providing their own advantages and disadvantages to units moving and fighting within them.
On this map players maneuver land, air and naval units in order to capture strategic locations, destroy enemy forces, and eventually achieve their nations specific victory conditions before other players can achieve theirs. Along the way, players must also manage production of new military units, development of technological improvements, the state of their economies and diplomatic efforts.
A single game can last dozens of tense turns, with the tide of battle shifting one way and another as armies clash, planes duel and leaders are replaced. With four playable factions, adjustable victory conditions, scenarios focusing on specific phases of the war and a versatile editor for creating more, no two games of Panzer Marshal play out quite the same.
