What is Pokemonium?

Pokemonium is an open-source, fan-made PC game inspired by the popular Pokemon franchise. Developed using the Unity game engine, Pokemonium aims to recreate the classic Pokemon experience on PC with updated graphics and gameplay.

In Pokemonium, players explore an open world filled with different towns, routes, and dungeons. Wild Pokemon can be encountered while traversing the world, which the player can then battle and attempt to catch. Players can assemble a team of 6 Pokemon and battle AI trainers, online opponents, and Gym Leaders.

The game features a story mode where players take on the role of a young trainer who leaves home to go on a Pokemon journey and compete in the Pokemon League while stopping an evil organization along the way. Side quests and other content is also available in addition to the main story.

With its retro-inspired pixel art style, multiplayer battler features, customizable avatar and Pokemon options, new regional variations on existing Pokemon, and plans to continually expand the world and content, Pokemonium aims to provide a fun and nostalgic Pokemon experience to fans for free.
