What is PokeMMO?
PokeMMO is a free-to-play, open source fan made iteration of Nintendo's popular Pokémon games. It combines elements of the first four generations of Pokémon games - Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, and Pearl. It allows players to explore familiar Pokémon worlds with other players in real-time.
Just like the original games, PokeMMO features a top-down 2D perspective with tile-based graphics. You can customise your trainer and starter Pokémon before setting off on adventure to catch Pokémon, battle gym leaders, and become a champion. Along the way you'll encounter other players with whom you can trade Pokémon, battle, or explore together.
