What is Neo Monsters?
Neo Monsters is a monster catching and battling game released for iOS and Android devices in 2017. Taking clear inspiration from the Pokémon series, Neo Monsters allows players to explore an open fantasy world filled with hundreds of unique monsters to capture and train.
After customizing their avatar, players set out with a starter monster to battle wild monsters. Using capture discs, players can recruit defeated monsters to join their collection. Monsters gain experience in battle and evolve into new, more powerful forms. Players can build a team of up to 60 monsters with different strengths, weaknesses, and abilities.
A main campaign guides players through the world as they battle monster hunters and crime organizations. Side quests and optional content such as breeding rare monsters provide engaging distractions. The world features diverse environments like grasslands, deserts, and snowfields to discover.
Multiplayer features allow battles and trades with other players locally or online. Weekly live events keep the community engaged with new challenges. While the gameplay sticks close to the Pokémon formula, Neo Monsters stands out with its anime-inspired art style and emphasis on multiplayer battles.
