What is EvoCreo?
EvoCreo is a mobile monster catching and battling game released in 2016 by Ilmfinity. Often compared to the Pokemon series due to similar gameplay, EvoCreo has players exploring the fantasy world of Zenith seeking out new creatures called Creos to capture.
Once captured, Creos can be trained and evolved to take on other players in turn-based battles. While inspired by Pokemon, EvoCreo sets itself apart with a rich story focused on moral choices, side quests, crafting mechanics, and 480 battle techniques spread across 190 unique catchable monsters.
Players traverse Zenith through an overhead map interface. Random encounters trigger a transition to separate battle screens where players assemble a party of up to 6 Creos with unique advantages and disadvantages via a rock-paper-scissors elemental system. EvoCreo’s single player campaign unfolds through the distorted memories of a comatose patient, investigating moral and philosophical questions.
