Pokémon Quest is a free-to-start action RPG game for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. Players explore Tumblecube Island with a team of cube-shaped Pokémon and battle other Pokémon. The goal is to attract various Pokémon to your base camp by cooking tasty meals.

What is Pokémon Quest?

Pokémon Quest is a free-to-start action RPG game developed by Game Freak and published by The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo Switch in 2018. An enhanced version for iOS and Android mobile devices was released later that year.

The game features cube-shaped Pokémon with blocky designs inhabiting Tumblecube Island. Players can explore the island and attract various Pokémon back to their base camp by cooking and serving tasty meals. As more Pokémon join your team, you can take them into battle against other wild Pokémon on the island.

Gameplay consists of players customizing their teams of up to three Pokémon and venturing out to complete expeditions across different areas of Tumblecube Island. Your Pokémon will battle automatically, but you can influence the fights by using Power Stones to boost attacks or healing your team. The goal is to beat the level boss and find ingredients to cook meals that attract more Pokémon back at your base.

With its bright, voxel-style graphics and streamlined RPG mechanics, Pokémon Quest was designed as a casual, pick-up-and-play experience for the Nintendo Switch. The mobile version brought the unique island adventure to iOS and Android platforms as well.
