Project CARS: Motorsport Racing Simulation Video Game Series

Project CARS is a motorsport racing simulation video game series developed by Slightly Mad Studios. The games allow players to experience various racing disciplines like GT racing, open wheel racing, and more on recreations of real-world tracks with detailed car physics and graphics.

What is Project CARS (Series)?

Project CARS is an award-winning motorsport racing simulation video game series developed by Slightly Mad Studios. The first game, Project CARS, was released in 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC featuring over 65 tracks and 100 cars to choose from.

Project CARS 2, the sequel, came out in 2017 with even more content - over 180 cars and 60 tracks. It expanded the racing disciplines from the first game as well, adding styles like Oval racing. The racing takes place on highly detailed recreations of famous real-world racing venues from around the globe.

The third installment in the series, simply titled Project CARS 3, launched in 2020. It features over 140 cars and 120 track layouts. The handling model was tweaked to appeal to a broader audience compared to the hardcore simulations of the first two games, though it still retains impressive graphics, physics, and attention to detail.

Overall, the Project CARS games provide racing fans an authentic and comprehensive racing experience spanning multiple motorsport disciplines. Players can progress from weekend racer to pro in dynamic career modes or customize their own championships and races. The games run beautifully and aim to recreate the thrill and challenge of racing high-performance vehicles.
