PTMC (Prevention Technology & Methods Council) is an industry-wide project management software designed to facilitate information sharing between participating companies across industries. Its goal is to help prevent supply chain disruptions through improved communication, data analysis, and proactive issue resolution.
PTMC establishes a centralized database where companies can securely upload and access data on potential supply chain risks, such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, trade wars, factory fires, and more. Using predictive analytics, the software analyzes patterns in the data to model and foresee issues.
When the software detects high-risk situations, it sends proactive notifications to all potentially impacted companies.
