What is The Darkness II?

The Darkness II is a first-person shooter with light role-playing elements, played from a first-person perspective. Players take control of Jackie Estacado, who wields ancient demonic abilities known as The Darkness after inheriting them on his 21st birthday.

Two years after the events of the first game, Jackie now dons a suit and runs the Franchetti crime family as Don, keeping his Darkness powers under control. However, an unprovoked attack by a mysterious group called the Brotherhood draws him back into using his powers, seeking vengeance while also learning more about the origin of The Darkness.
