ZFSguru: Open-Source Storage Pool Manager for ZFS on Linux and FreeBSD
An open-source storage pool and file system manager for ZFS on Linux and FreeBSD, providing a simple graphical interface for managing pools, datasets, snapshots, replication, and more.
What is ZFSguru?
ZFSguru is an open-source graphical user interface application that allows easy management and monitoring of ZFS on Linux and FreeBSD systems. ZFS is an advanced file system with numerous capabilities like snapshots, cloning, replication, integrity checking, compression, deduplication and more.
With ZFSguru, you can conveniently create and manage ZFS pools, filesystems (called datasets), snapshots, clones and replication without needing to use the command line. An intuitive graphical interface allows you to view pool and dataset usage statistics, monitor read/write operations, import/export pools with a click rather than memorizing complex ZFS commands.
Key features include:
Create, destroy and manage ZFS pools and datasets
Take, restore, clone and replicate snapshots
Monitor disk I/O operations in real-time with detailed statistics
Visualize pool and dataset usage with charts
Import and export pools with a single click
Scrub and resilver monitoring
All ZFS capabilities exposed in easy-to-use GUI
As an open source project, ZFSguru is available for free and allows better insight and control over your ZFS storage without needing deep command-line knowledge. It runs on Linux and FreeBSD desktops and servers using GTK+ 3 as the graphical toolkit.
