What is Across Age (Series)?

Across Age is a series of action role-playing games developed and published by FDG Entertainment. The series follows the story of the protagonist Axel and his adventures across mystical worlds filled with magic and swordplay. The first Across Age game was released in 2007.

In the story, Axel must travel between worlds and battle the evil schemes of the villain Guile. Axel gathers allies, learns new abilities, solves puzzles, and defeats enemies in real-time combat as he tries to save the worlds from destruction. The combat features hack-and-slash gameplay against fantasy creatures and epic boss battles.

The Across Age games utilize colorful, anime-inspired two-dimensional graphics. The gameplay takes Axel through forests, caves, castles, and villages on his quests.
