What is Any2DjVu?

Any2DjVu is an open source command line utility that can convert various file formats like PDF, TIFF, JPEG, PNG, BMP and GIF to the DjVu format. DjVu is a format specialized for storing scanned documents and digital documents with text, drawings and images. It applies advanced compression techniques that allows DjVu files to be typically 10 times smaller than their uncompressed forms.

By converting files to DjVu, Any2DjVu enables saving storage space while retaining the visual quality. It can losslessly compress bilevel images and also encodes color images and photographs with high quality JPEG.
